Stage 6 sample units
There are three sample units for Part I of the Preliminary course (Aboriginality and the Land) and six for Part I of the HSC course (Social Justice and Human Rights Issues).
These Stage 6 units are presented here to broaden the range of Indigenous communities and focus topics that are currently being studied by HSC students.
One Preliminary unit presented here provides a demonstration of the use of the Research and Inquiry Method in a case study.
All units contain examples of well-structured teaching programs and engaging assessment tasks, with marking guidelines, extensive resources and student worksheets. Teachers are encouraged to modify the teaching programs to fit their own local contexts and interests.
