Teachers
The project was targeted at Stage 2 and the teachers who were:
- open to developing partnerships with parents in curriculum development
- prepared to look at their current curriculum practices
- prepared to investigate their current teaching practice
- prepared to implement the new Mathematics K-6 Syllabus
- open to working with direct involvement of mentors and Board staff.
Three Year 4 teachers volunteered from Crawford PS along with the teaching Principal of Walhallow PS, who was teaching the Primary 3-6 class. The principal, who grew up in the Walhallow community, had a significant and broad role as a member of the community.
